Biography

Yuka Morishige studies since Oktober 2011 at the University of the Arts Berlin with Prof. Klaus Hellwig as a scholarship student of Yamaha Music Foundation. She was awarded First prize at the Tokyo Piano Competition in Japan, Encouragement Award at the Altur Schnabel Piano Competition in Berlin, Special Mention prize at the Roberta Gallinari International Piano Competition in Italy, Finalist at the Pianale International Piano Competition in Germany and 3rd Preis at the Young Piano Stars International Piano Competition in Berlin. She performed in many concerts in Japan, germany , holland, and will perform two recitals at spain in 2016. in 2011 she played Saint-Saëns Piano Concerto No.2 with Tokyo Universal Philharmonic Orchestra. She successfully finished her bachelor's degree at Toho-Gakuen unversity of music in 2011 and also Diplom's degree at the university of the Arts Berlin in 2014. she continued her studies in Master since Oktober.
