Will Cesta is a young Australian pianist. The 21-year-old has toured Europe and Asia as a soloist, and performs frequent concertos, solo recitals and chamber concerts in Australia. He is the recipient of various awards for his performances, including The Bessie Cook Piano Scholarship and Bill Caldwell Scholarship, has been featured regularly on Australian Radio, and is at the beginning of a 7-year project to record the Complete Piano Works of Robert Schumann. Under his three main teachers, Rosemary Allan, Natalia Ricci and Gianfranco Ricci, Will has been granted full scholarships to the Sydney Conservatorium Open Academy, Sydney Conservatorium and St Andrew’s College, also winning many others to undertake frequent international study. Recent competition success include first places in the 2015 Palladian Instrumental Competition and 2015 Bluescope/WIN Piano Championship. He is also an active exponent of contemporary Australian music, an avid chamber musician and a conductor.
