A native of the SF Bay Area, pianist Stephanie Ng has been the top prizewinner of several competitions, including first prize in chamber music at the 2013 Virginia Waring International Piano Competition and second prize at the 2015 Van Waynen Piano Competition, and was a semifinalist at the Washington International Piano Competition in Washington, DC. As a chamber musician, Ms. Ng performed under the baton of James Conlon at the Broad Stage in Santa Monica in March 2014. Stephanie has performed as soloist with the Colburn Orchestra, Brentwood-Westwood Symphony, Peninsula Symphony, Saratoga Symphony, and UCLA Philharmonia. She has worked with renowned artists such as Robert McDonald, Jean-Yves Thibaudet, Menahem Pressler, Mikhail Voskresensky, and Sergei Babayan. Ms. Ng received her Artist Diploma from The Colburn School Conservatory of Music, studying with John Perry, and is currently pursuing her Master’s Degree at the Shepherd School of Music, studying with Robert Roux.
