BiographyShih-Wei Chen was born in Taiwan, he has made his debut commercial CD Album with Asia EMI company at age nineteen.
Mr.Chen finished his study with the highest degree “Soloklasse” at The University of Music,Drama and Media in Hannover,Germany.
He is a prizewinner of numerous international piano competitions; such as 1st prize at Delia Steinberg in Madrid, 2nd prize at Mauro Paolo Monopoli in Italy and Grotrian-Steinberg Competitions in Germany, as well as 3rd prize at Premio Franz Liszt in Italy.
He has performed piano concertos many times with professional orchestras; such as National Taiwan Symphony Orchestra ,Taipei Symphony Philharmonic Orchestra, Western Palm Beach Symphony Orchestra , Taipei Wind Orchestra,Taiwan Salut String Orchestra and most recently performed with NSO(National Symphony Orchestra) Prokofiev 2nd concerto with conductor Guenther Herbig and Prokofiev 3rd Concerto with NTSO(National Taiwan Symphony Orchestra) with conductor Fusao Kajima.
