Biography

Sejoon Park was born to cellist parents in Seoul, Korea. After his orchestral debut with Korea’s Busan Philharmonic Orchestra at the age of ten, Mr. Park moved to the United States where he was chosen as “100 People to Watch” by The Washingtonian Magazine while receiving top prizes from the King Award for Young Artists, the New Orleans International Piano Competition, the PianoArts National Piano Competition and the Arthur Fraser International Piano Competition. Mr. Park is winner of the 2014 Astral Artists’ Auditions. Mr. Park has appeared on the stages of Lincoln Center’s Alice Tully Hall, (Le) Poisson Rouge, the Kennedy Center as both soloist and collaborative artist, and has made frequent appearance with numerous orchestras in both United States and South Korea as a soloist. Mr. Park is currently studying as an Artist Diploma candidate at the Peabody Institute under the tutelage of Boris Slutsky.
