Lovre Marušić was born 1992 in Split, Croatia. He completed his elementary school in Omiš (Lovro von Matačić Music School), playing piano under the guidance of Rozarija Samodol. In 2006 he started his musical education with Professor Natalia Troull in Moscow (Central Music school at the P. I. Tschaikovsky Moscow State Conservatory) which he successfully finished in 2011. He continued with his piano studies at the Music Academy in Zagreb,with Professor Ljubomir Gašparović. He is currently a fifth-year student studying at Hochschule für Musik Franz Liszt in Weimar in Grigory Gruzman's class as an Erasmus student.
Competition : the first prize on the Aleksandar Skrjabin Competition in Paris (2011).This January he performed for the first time with the Zagreb Philharmonics playing L.V. Beethoven's Fourth Concert under the conductor Zoran Juranić. This year he won Karlovac
International piano competition and also opportunity CD- recording in Miami
