Born in P.R. China. Upon completing his primary school education, he migrated to Australia with his father, and begun to take piano lessons from the renowned Russian pianist Prof. Natasha Vlassenko, with whom Roger also completed his Bachelor of Music degree at the Queensland Conservatorium of Music, Brisbane. Roger was successful in a number of national and international piano competitions during that time. Since 2011, Roger moved to Germany for his Master Degree at the Hochschule für Musik Karlsruhe, under Prof. Kalle Randalu. In 2014, Roger begun his engagement with a Berlin based concert management, living in Hamburg, and taking lessons from Prof. Stefan Symonian and Prof. Dina Yoffe. Prize accolates include 2nd Prize at the Lev Vlassenko Piano Competition 2007, Best Australian Contestant at the Southern Highland International Piano Competition 2009, and 2nd Prize at the national Petrov Piano Competition, and 2nd Prize Bach and Komitas Festival, Berlin, Germany.
