Biography

Ching-Yi Lin is a young and talented pianist of young generation in Taiwan. Graduating from Soochow University in 2014 with a Bachelor of Arts in Music (Performance), he majored in piano and was guided by Dr. Wei-Lung Lee and Li-Huei Chen. Moreover, He has also studied with Sergei Glavatskih in the 2012 NTSO International Piano Camp in Taipei.
Furthermore, Ching-Yi has won numerous prizes, including the Second Prize in 2012 in the Asia Piano Competition in Kuala Lumpur. Concerto performances bring Ching-Yi to orchestras as well, such as the Soochow University Symphony Orchestra and the Sacred Hearts High School Symphony Orchestra of Taiwan.
Since 2012, Ching-Yi as a soloist has received invitation from the Cultural Affairs Department of Yunlin County to perform annual recitals in his hometown.
