Biography

Having completed his studies at the Sydney Conservatorium of Music with Alexandra Vinokurov, Jeremy So was awarded a Bachelor of Music (Performance) with Honours First Class and the University Medal. He subsequently studied with Stephen Savage at the Royal Northern College of Music, being awarded a Master of Music (Solo Performance) with Distinction, then continuing onto the prestigious International Artist Diploma course.

His performances have taken him internationally to Auckland, Leipzig, Paris and Xi’an, as well as venues including the Sydney Opera House, Federation Concert Hall, Wigmore Hall and Bridgewater Hall. He has participated in masterclasses with Steven Osborne, Kathryn Stott, Pierre-Laurent Aimard and Pascal Roge.

He is the recipient of awards from the Ian Potter Cultural Trust and the Countess of Munster Musical Trust. Projects with which he has been involved include the 2010 ISCM World New Music Days, the Britten-Pears Young Artist Programme and the London Sinfonietta Academy.
