BiographyGiuseppe Guarrera was born in Enna, Sicily, in 1991, and started to play the piano at the age of four. He studied under M° Giuseppe Cultrera,with M°Siavush Gadjiev and, since April 2014, he is a student of Eldar Nebolsin at the"Hochschule fur Musik Hans Eisler" in Berlin.
In November 2014 he won second prize at the J.Mottram International competition, in Manchester, after being a candidate in other big competition as Busoni, Queen Elisabeth and Leeds .
He attended masterclasses with the Russian pianist Mikhail Voskresensky in Paris, Ferenc Rados in London and Christopher Elton in London. In 2010 he won the prestigious "Premio Venezia" organized by "La Fenice" Theater, as best graduated student of the year.As a soloist he played in Auditorio Sony in Madrid, La Fenice Theater in Venice, the Bob Boas foundation in London, Giuseppe Verdi Theater in Trieste, Studio Flagey in Bruxelles, University hall in Leeds, Northern college of music In Manchester, Bologna Festival in Italy, Palazzo Ricci in Montepulciano, Deutsches Historisches Museum in Berlin, as well as in other italian cities
He played under great conductors from past and new genaration,as V.Petrenko and D.Kjtaenko.
