Biography

Georgy Tchaidze was born in 1988 in St. Petersburg, Russia. He began to study piano and violin at the age of 7.
In 2005 he graduated from N. Novgorod Balakirev Musical College (prof. N. Feoktistova).
The same year he entered the Moscow State Tchaikovsky Conservatory (prof. S. Dorensky). After graduating form the Coservatory and completing it's post-graduate program Georgy continued his education in the class of Prof. K.Hellwig at the Berlin University of Arts.
He is a laureate of many international piano competitions in Russia, USA, Germany, Croatia and Canada. Among others are:

The VI Honens International Piano Competition, Calgary, Canada (2009) - 1 prize

The 4th International «Top of the World» Piano Competition, Tromsø, Norway (2015) – 1 prize.

His debut appearances in Carnegie Hall (New York, 2012), Wigmore Hall (London, 2012), Konzerthaus (Berlin, 2012) and Concertgebouw (Amsterdam, 2010-11) were highly acclaimed by critics and audience.
