BiographyBorn in 1990, Evan Wong is currently studying at the Hochschule für Musik, Theater und Medien in Hannover under the tutelage of Matti Raekallio and Ewa Kupiec in the Konzertexamen program, Mr. Wong is a graduate of the Juilliard School and New England Conservatory.
He has performed in festivals such as Lucerne, Ravinia, Perlman, Aspen etc.and has appeared in broadcasts worldwide including the MPR (Minnesota,USA), KBS (South Korea) and the Han (Taiwan) stations.
Recently, he made his debut at the Taiwan National Concert Hall with the World Civic orchestra and Saga Civic Concert Hall with the Harmonia Orchestra of Saga, Japan.
Mr. Wong is the recipient of the 2013 Chi Mei Foundation Artist Award, the 2nd prize winner in the 2013 Jefferson Young Artist Competition, 2009 NEC concerto competition 1st prize winner and was a medalist in the 2015 Maria Canals Competition.
