Danor Quinteros studied with pianist Maria Iris Radrigán at the Catholic University of Chile  and then in Europe with Prof. Jacob Leuschner and Prof. Pavel Gililov In Cologne.
1st Prize in all chilean national competitions and prizewinner in the International Claudio Arrau and the International Competition “Dr. Luis Sigall”. Also winner of the Steinway-Förder Preis in Germany and the Publikumpreis at PIANALE Academy. Recently Danor Quinteros won 3rd prize at Ile de France Competition and Santia Cecilia International Competition as well as first prize at the International Piano Competition “Giuliano Pecar”
            Recitals given all around Chile as well as in Germany, Italy, France and Spain. Other presentations include Tonhalle Zürich, LLoyd Hall in Banff, Klavierfestival Ruhr in Bochum and Liszt-Haus in Weimar.
           Danor Quinteros has performed as soloist with the Chile Symphony Orchestra, the Toruńska Orkiestra Symfoniczna and the ETH Saloon-orchestra in  Zürich.
