Biography

American pianist Christine Wu is the top prizewinner of many national and international competitions. Most recently, she was third prize in the Ettore Pozzoli International Piano Competition and first prize in the Chautauqua Institute Piano Competition. She has performed on stages in the U.S., Germany, France, and Italy, in solo and chamber music recitals in Lincoln Center (New York), the Kennedy Center Terrace Theater (Washington D.C.), Benaroya Hall (Seattle), Teatro San Rocco (Seregno, Italy) and the Théâtre du Châtelet (Paris), to name a few. Christine performs regularly with her duo partner, violist Andrew Gonzalez.
Christine began her piano lessons at the age of five. She earned her Bachelor of Music from the Juilliard School and is currently pursuing a Master of Music there with Hung Kuan Chen. Her other major teachers have included Choong-Mo Kang, Julian Martin, and Logan Skelton.
