Biography

The pianist Albertina Eunju Song was born in Seoul (South Korea), studied with Prof. Young-lan Han in the Yonsei University in Seoul. In 2008 she continued her studying in Stuttgart with Prof. Andrzej Ratusinki. During this time she won 1st Prizes at international competitions: Lia Tortora (2010), The music prize of the Lions Club Stuttgart-Schlossgarten (2011) and 3rd Prize, audience prize and special prize for the best interpretation of a work by Debussy at the International Piano Competition "Mayenne" in France (2012). She received frequency important artistic impulses through master classes with Prof. Karl-Heinz Kaemmerling, Prof. Bernd Goetzke and Prof. Pavel Gililov. She has performed as solist with soloists of the Staatskapelle Dresden, the Leipzig String Quartet. In March 2014 she won the Audience Prize of the German Piano Award 2014 which was awarded in the Alte Oper Frankfurt.
