Moye Chen completed his Bachelor and Master degrees at the Shanghai Conservatory of Music under Professor Hung-Kuan Chen. He received his Artist Diploma from Oberlin Conservatory of Music, where he studied with Professor Angela Cheng, and is currently a doctoral candidate at the University of Illinois, studying with Professors William Heiles and Robert Hamilton.

He has made numerous solo appearances in many cities and at music festivals, including the Beijing International Contemporary Music Festival, Deia International Music Festival, Gilmore International Keyboard Festival and Tongyeong International Music Festival. Moye has performed in renowned venues such as Carnegie Hall, Krannert Center, the Great Hall of the Tchaikovsky Moscow State Conservatory, Beijing Concert Hall and Shanghai Concert Hall, and he has appeared with orchestras such as the Cincinnati Symphony Orchestra, Beijing Symphony Orchestra, Sioux City Symphony Orchestra, Oberlin Chamber Orchestra, International Orchestra ‘Virtuosos of Madrid’ and Ensembles Asia Orchestra.
